    Jason Fajerman Head Coach

    Jason was born in Charlotte and grew up in Stephens Grove, where he began swimming with the Stingrays at just 5 years old. A longtime member of the team, he is especially excited to be leading the Stingrays during the program’s 20th season.

    In addition to his time with the Stingrays, Jason swam for the Community School of Davidson Spartans, where he specialized in sprint freestyle and butterfly. During high school, he discovered his passion for coaching by volunteering with swim lessons and teaching younger swimmers in his neighborhood. He has been coaching with the Stingrays since 2021 and is thrilled to step into the role of Head Coach for the 2026 season.

    Jason is currently a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he is double majoring in Biology and Psychology on the pre-med track. At UNC, he continues to stay involved in the sport as a member of the club swim team. He is also a certified EMT, gaining hands-on experience in patient care and emergency response. He hopes to pursue a career in medicine, where he can continue helping others and making a positive impact in his community.

    Outside of the pool, Jason enjoys playing golf, watching sports, staying active outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.

    For the 2026 season, Jason is especially excited to build on the team’s strong tradition, help swimmers grow both in and out of the water, and create a fun, positive environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels.

    Sarah Martin Assistant Coach

    Sarah was born and raised in North Carolina and has lived in Stephens Grove for the past nine years. She is the youngest in her family and has four older brothers and two sisters. Sarah has been on a summer swim team since she was six. She found a great love for the sport for relaxation, pleasure, and competition. In addition to coaching, Sarah serves as a lifeguard at the Lake Norman YMCA, and loves being able to keep swimmers safe in the water. 

    Sarah is graduating from High School this summer and will be attending Ave Maria University in Florida in the Fall, where she plans on majoring in Business Administration.

    Sarah has several hobbies. Her favorite is swimming, but she also thoroughly enjoys dancing, singing, crocheting, biking, traveling, and spending time with friends.

    Sarah is looking forward to coming back as an Assistant Coach and swimming as a Stingray again this year.

    Declan
    Declan Fittz Assistant Coach

    Declan is a member of Swim Mac Carolina and Lake Norman Charter swim and dive team. He was born and raised here in Huntersville, North Carolina, and started swimming with the Stingrays when he was 5!  Declan has been swimming with us since!

    He has a older brother and a dog. Declan began swimming with the Stingrays swim team and has loved the sport so much that he joined Swim Mac.  He has been swimming with the program for the last 7 years. That is where he started loving short distance backstroke. 

    Once in high school he joined the Lake Norman Charter Swim and Dive team, and contributed to winning the state championship in 2025. Declan currently goes to Lake Norman Charter. He plans to continue swimming through high-school and into college. 

    In his free time Declan loves to watch movies, eat good food and swim. And spending time with friends and family. Declan is really exited to Coach and swim this year for the Stingrays. He looks forward to working with the swimmers and helping them get better at swimming as a whole.

    Noah Fatzinger Assistant Coach

    Noah was born in Delray Beach, Florida and moved to Huntersville in 2015. He’s lived in Stephens Grove for 11 years and is the youngest in his family, with two older sisters and a dog named Piper. He’s currently a rising senior at Lincoln Charter School in Denver.


    Swimming has been a huge part of Noah’s life since he joined the Stingrays in 1st grade, and it’s grown into a true passion. His favorite stroke is freestyle, but he enjoys them all. In addition to coaching, Noah is a dedicated member of his high school swim team and recently qualified for and competed in the NCHSAA State Championship in Cary. He’s also on the men’s varsity volleyball team and serves as co-president of his school’s American Red Cross Club.

    When he’s not busy with sports or school, Noah enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on beach trips, and eating Chick-fil-A sandwiches.

    Noah is excited for the opportunity to help build a strong team culture and inspire everyone around him this season!

    Addie Lord Assistant Coach

    Addie was born and raised in the Charlotte area, and began swimming with the Stingrays at 10 years old. She began volunteer coaching with the Stingrays at 13 and is super excited to be able to continue with the team. 

    In addition to swimming with the Stingrays, Addie has been a synchronized swimmer with Carolina Synchro and swam for Lake Norman Charter School as a distance freestyler. She discovered her love of coaching through the Stingrays and has loved growing with the team as well as teaching swim lessons for Mecklenburg County. She is also a certified lifeguard who loves to make swimming safe and accessible for everyone. 

    Addie is currently a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she is majoring in Human and Organizational Leadership Development and Business Administration. She hopes to work in project management, HR, or adult education. At UNC, she stays active in the water as a member of the UNC Women's Club Water-Polo team and participates in charity open water swims. 

    Outside the pool, Addie enjoys hiking, reading, listening to music, crafting, traveling, and spending time with family. Addie is looking forward to getting back into the pool this summer and helping swimmers become more confident in the pool and at meets

    Brooks Keener Jr Coach

    Brooks was born and raised here in Huntersville, where he started swimming with the Stingrays in 2022. Brooks started coaching as a volunteer during our Winter Clinic in 2025, where he found a love for coaching and helping younger swimmers learn how to swim. When he is not swimming at meets, you can always find Brooks on the sidelines cheering on his teammates.

    In addition to the Stingrays, Brooks started swimming for the Hopewell High School Titans Varsity Swim Team. Brooks also swims year-round withe the Helios Club Swim Team. Brooks says his favorite part of the Stingrays is the friends he's made, the competition, and the fun we have. Brooks is super excited to swim this season and make more memories with the team!

    Gray Parker Jr Coach

    Gray was born in Fayetteville, NC, and lived in Belgium before moving to Huntersville in 1st grade. He has been swimming with the Stingrays for 10 years, along with his younger sister and two younger brothers. Gray started volunteer coaching with the Stingrays two years ago and is excited to take on a bigger role with the team this season. 

    Gray is also involved in his church’s youth ministry, where he serves elementary and middle school students and discovered his love for being a mentor to kids. When he is not in the pool, Gray enjoys working out, playing soccer, and baking. He is looking forward to helping younger swimmers grow, improve, and have fun this season!

    Hannah Laskowski Jr Coach

    Hannah was born and raised in Pennsylvania where she lived until moving to North Carolina in 2021. She first participated in swim team at age 10 and has continued since then. She became a Stingray in 2021. Over the years, she has loved volunteering at practices and swim meets. 

    Hannah has five younger siblings, one dog, and two cats. She loves singing, reading, baking, watching movies, and swimming. She currently works at Panera Bread and also recently started working as a swim instructor at the YMCA. 

    This summer she is graduating with both her high school diploma and an Associate of Arts from Central Piedmont Community College. In the fall, she plans to transfer to Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio to study Communications, Philosophy, and Music. Hannah is so excited to be a part of the coaching team this year and can't wait to meet everyone!
